Pictures from Japan

Posted on

I have been in Japan for almost two weeks, and already wish I could back again. It is a land of beauty, serenity and traditions. I wanted to go here already as a child. I watched manga-cartoons, fell in love with geishas, samurais and the esthetic houses, and found my favorite author there. The people here look really beautiful, and they are so diverse. The wear anything they fancy, which is liberating. I`ve seen close-knit families playing with their children, and experienced their kindness. There is so much more I could write, but a pictures says more than a thousand words, so here are some of the pics I`ve taken so far.

My son was there a few months ago. He went to Japan Disney. He is scheduled to go to Vietnam on a cruise. Unfortunately I could not go. I am recuperating from a triple by pass. A bummer to be sure but I am recovering well. No depression, just joy at being alive.

Hi! Good to hear from you, but sorry about the triple bypass. That must have been terrifying! Glad you see the positive side, there IS always something good that can be focused on in every situation!

I had no choice. Total blockage and down to 15 on heart beats. Now two and a half months later up to 32. Looks like I will be around a little bit longer. No depression or heart pain. Remember enjoy life.
