Good intentions

Posted on Updated on

I managed to kick my nicotine habit, until today. Even if I’m angry at myself I try to see this as setback and nothing else. I know now that I can be without nicotine for a long time, but that sometimes the craving gets the better of me like for all smokers.

I recently read an article about quitting smoking. If you want to kick the habit, you will; But only if you’re not too hard on yourself. Positive self-take is what makes you try quitting again. By being accepting of the fact that you did smoke again, you don’t feel gulilt. Without guilt you don’t start thinking that you won’t make it because you’re too weak and that it’s hopeless anyway. So I will quit again.I just need one more cigarette first.
