Summertime gladness

Posted on

In two weeks we will be in Croatia. I can’t wait, but unfortunately have to. Not only that, these two weeks will be very busy, since I have much work to do. Due to a change in the group of patients I will work with, I have to say goodbye to many of my trauma patients (but not all, luckily), and that means overtime.

But, it will be worth it. I can process the loss of not seeing many of my lovely patients while lying on a beach in split, and look forward to all the wonderful people I will see in my office come August.

Too bad, but I bet you have so much to see in USA that it probably can wait 😘

There’s still a lot I have to see in the U.S. For example, the Grand Canyon or Yellowstone…I have time to see it all.

I would absolutely love to go there, even if I’m a bit scared of Yellowstone, since I’ve heard the volcano underneath it is due to erupt out any day now !

I’m getting myself out to the Grand Canyon this Christmas, by asking myself ” if not now, then when?” But reconsidering Yellowstone because of the threat of an erupting volcano is completely fair I hear the same thing with Oregon and the potential for a huge earthquake at some point.

Don’t think I want to know more about such potential catastrophes, or I won’t sleep. Better to live in blissful ignorance 😬 it’s so great that you think that way, that’s the way to live your life to the fullest!

I don’t like to think about them either, but I definitely try as much as I can to live life to the fullest. : ) I always encourage people to live and travel in a way that makes them happy!
